At 15:20hrs ET114 was dispatched on the initial box alarm for a barn fire. The first unit went on scene, dropped a line at the end of the driveway for water supply and advised ECC they had heavy fire showing. The next unit set up folding tanks at the end of the driveway for water supply operations and for water shuttle relay. BC902 went on scene and established command and soon requested additional large compacity tankers. Command also requested the hazmat units to assist due to the hazard in the barn. All other units went on scene and took their assigned positions. ET114 advised command there was a driveway to the rear of the farm and were directed to side C. Upon going to side C, ET114 advised command there was a pond that could be used as a secondary water source. Other units assisted with those operations on side C. Units operated for several hours before terminating command.
