On Monday 11/23/2020 units from companies 11 and 24 were dispatched for a vehicle accident in the area of Liberty Rd and Crum Rd. Upon arrival, units were unable to find an accident. With assistance from Frederick County Emergency Communications, it was discovered that the accident was located at the intersection of RT194 and Crum Rd. Units arrived to find a pick-up truck vs. a dump truck collision. E111 established RT194 command and Advanced Life Support units were immediately requested along with a Maryland State Police Med-evac helicopter. E111 and A249 worked on patient care and extrication. ET114 was dispatched and established a landing zone for Maryland State Police Trooper 3. One patient was transported by air to a local trauma center.
